Join us for our Community Kundalini Yoga & Gong monthly class series on Sunday mornings! Enjoy an immersive practice as we dive into the foundations and subtleties of the Kundalini Yoga experience. Whether you’re new to Kundalini or looking to deepen your practice, the sessions promise to be enriching and transformative. Master Kundalini Yoga teacher Hari Kaur and master sound healer Jenn Drue are here to guide you.
Session 1 focuses on the Foundations of Kundalini Yoga: Learn techniques to awaken your inner energy and vitality; body, mind, breath, rhythm and consciousness.

The July class is scheduled to take place outdoors at the Woodstock Sanctuary, except in case of rainy weather or extreme heat. Please watch for updates via email and on this webpage. All other classes will be held at Mountain View Studio in Woodstock, unless specified otherwise.

What to Expect
- Session Format: Each class will feature a warm-up, specific Kundalini kriyas/exercises, meditation, and an extended gong relaxation for deep rejuvenation.

- Online Connectivity: In addition to monthly sessions, we’ll offer online meditations to stay connected and supported between sessions.

August 18: Living in Harmony with Our Body and the Physical World
Explore Kundalini Yoga practices focused on balancing the energy centers (chakras), subtle bodies and tatvas (earth, water, fire, air, and space) for overall well-being.
September 22: Cultivating Inner Peace
Learn meditation techniques to cultivate a peaceful mind.
October 27: Strengthening the Core
Focus on endurance and vitality in the body and mind with kriyas and exercises to build physical and energetic endurance.
November 17: Awakening Consciousness
Deepen your consciousness and experience your spirit with mantra, chanting and the resonant sound current.
December 8: Integration and Empowerment
Integrate the learned practices with group meditation and an empowerment celebration to continue your Kundalini Yoga journey.
Hari Kaur Khalsa is a master teacher of Kundalini Yoga and meditation, pioneering its teaching in the West as part of the first wave of yoga teachers. She studied Qi Gong with Chris Chen and offers classes tailored for women and all practitioners. Hari directs and teaches Kundalini classes and teacher trainings worldwide, with a notable legacy of bringing Kundalini Yoga to high schools and hospitals. From 1988 to 2004, she led the development of Kundalini Yoga wellness programs at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in the Greater Boston Area before relocating to NYC with her husband, Dave. In 2004, Hari founded the Illumined Woman courses to empower women of all ages, curating wisdom that brings healing, comfort, and transformation. She authored two influential books: ‘A Woman’s Book of Meditation: Discovering the Power of a Peaceful Mind’ and, as co-author with Machelle Seibel, MD, ‘A Woman’s Book of Yoga: Embracing Our Natural Life Cycles.’ Hari’s dedication has earned her numerous service awards for making Kundalini Yoga accessible worldwide, and she was the first woman teacher trainer to integrate these teachings universally. Hari Kaur Khalsa’s impact extends beyond her teachings; she was recognized as one of Yoga Journal’s Top Ten Influencers of Yoga in the West, a testament to her profound influence on the global yoga community.
Jennifer Drue serves as a conduit for transformation, blending ancient wisdom with modern healing practices. Trained under the guidance of esteemed Hari Kaur, she channels the power of Kundalini Yoga, complemented by her expertise as a Certified Sound Therapy Practitioner, weaving the mesmerizing tones of the gong and other sacred sound instruments into her practice. Jennifer curates personal retreats and intimate sessions, each a sacred space for upliftment, healing and transformation. Her teachings resonate deeply, touching lives with the gentle power of healing. She also works for a non-profit organization dedicated to serving people navigating visual impairments and other disabilities, embodying her commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
